Charcoal filter for clear water, especially when relocating. EHEIM KARBON is particularly suitable for clarifying water durant during the aquarium start-up period. In particular, it removes chlorine from the water, and the autres chemicals present in the aquarium at the time of installation are reliably deposited. EHEIM KARBON is used for a short time (approx. 4 weeks) in the filter after the mechanical filtration mass (e.g. EHEIM MECH or MECHApro) and the biological filtration mass (e.g. EHEIM SUBSTRATpro).
