"A horse is meant to be shod. "A horse lives in its stall and eats at fixed times". But like all traditions, isn't it time to question them? This is what Pierre ENOFF proposes by giving us an innovative and original approach to the inter-species relationship between humans and horses. By advocating the abandonment without concession of the dogmas inherited from military riding and the battle horse, the author presents us with a relationship that is pacified, facilitated, fulfilled and respectful of the horse. This work questions equestrian traditions by asserting itself against the current of current equestrian practices called to evolve for the well-being of the horse and its rider.
